Everyone Going That Way

ElisaReading time – 26 seconds; Viewing time – 1:10  .  .  .

My former colleage at Vistage/TEC, Elisa Spain, writes an interesting, leadership-focused blog and a recent posting caught my attention in a profound way.

In Alignment: What’s In It For Me? she details a fascinating experiment that airline company JetBlue conducted. They gave away transportation for a vacation to an entire planeload of passengers. All they had to do was to agree on the destination.

The process of finding agreement – alignment – is stimulating and the opportunities for learning are extensive. So, here’s your assignment:

  1. Click through to the JetBlue link, read the text and then play the video at the end of the article.
  2. Click through to Elisa’s blog and read it. Then answer her Wonderings for yourself.
  3. Post your comments in the What Do You Think? section below so that all of us learn and grow.
